Engineered vs solid maple flooring - any opinions? - maple flooring

We have hardwood floors and maple wood light engineering.
Try the history of engineering research, I see many positive things and not negative - but it should be! Any opinions?

Also - some are easier to install than the others?

If you are wondering ... This is for the 1 Floor of our house in Southern MA (about 6 miles from the sea).
